You could say I'm HTMLophobic, but thankfully we are learning Dreamweaver. And it is an important tool to learn in the graphic design field, it will give you a leg up on the competition (ie, other HTMLophobics). I’ve always been terrified of HTML. I know a few freelance graphic designers who pretty much make a living off of web design. I think it is essential for us graphic designers to know such a skill to survive! My degree is in digital media production (film and video) so I can definitely see how important it is for me to have a well designed site to show videos on. I hope this class helps me in the design aspect of site building. I don't have much design experience. I'm sure you GDers will churn out some cool shiite though. I just hope I can keep up. Peace!
